2010 PORTLAND PRIDE PET PARADE

The annual Pet Parade, presented by Healthy Pets Northwest, will involve the entire audience in selecting the winners in each category: Owner/Pet Look-alike; Most Sports-a-licious Pet; Gayest Dog; and Most Silly Pet. Winning Pets will receive fabulous prizes from Healthy Pets Northwest and Merrick Pet Care Company. One lucky audience member will win a free prize from Verizon Wireless just for participating in the voting!

Register your pet on the form below or in person the day of the Pet Parade by 12:15pm by going to the Bank of America Main Stage and requesting a registration card.

This year's Pet Parade is powered by Verizon Wireless. All audience members will choose each category's winner by texting their choices using their cell phones. Everyone in the audience will receive a "palm card" with instructions on how to text their choices during the Pet Parade. The great folks from Verizon Wireless will tabulate the votes and the winners will be announced within minutes by the Pet Parade MC.


REGISTRATION

Pets can be pre-registered here online until June 13th, 2010. After that date, the online registration will be closed and anyone wanting to register a pet must do so in person at the festival prior to the Pet Parade.

IN PERSON
Pets must be registered the day of the event no later than 12:15 pm at the Pride Festival Main Stage. Limit 1 pet per family ONLY. Pets that are not pre-registered online or registered by 12:15 on June 19th, 2010 pm will not be permitted to participate in the Parade.

Pride Northwest Pet Parade Competition Consent Form

I, the undersigned, hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Pet Parade, Pride Northwest, Inc., and the Pet Parade Committee from any and all claims for personal injury or property damage resulting from participation in the Pride Northwest, Inc. Pet Parade. It is further agreed that participants shall assume all responsibility for their pet being part of the Pride Northwest Pet Parade, and participant agrees to monitor pet's behavior at the event and is solely responsible for any personal injury or damage resulting my from their participation in the Pride Northwest, Inc. Pet Parade should any injury or damage occur as a result of their and said pet's participation.
