Pride Parade steps off around 11:15 - Sunday corner of Broadway and Davis
We are excited to launch this years theme, "United We Stand"
Now more than ever, it is time to stand together as a powerful and loving community, filled with support, trust and respect for all.

The first annual "Drag Race will kick off our Parade at 11:00am on Sunday June 14th on NW Couch and Broadway.
One exciting new change this year is launching the Pride Parade with a brand new fun event! Pride Northwest has teamed up with Terrapin Events to bring you the Portland Drag Race. This one mile running race is guaranteed to be a roaring good time as parade goers don their best rhinestone running shoes and race to the finish line which brings you right into the festival.

The planning for 2009 is well underway. Please note the date for 2009 is the weekend of June 13th and 14th. This is one week BEFORE FATHER'S DAY weekend.
Please bring your canned food to the Pride Festival in support of Our House.

2009 is the second pride parade that will be carbon-neutral thanks to Portland General Electric (PGE), which is purchasing more than enough carbon offsets from the Climate Trust of Oregon to offset carbon emissions produced by vehicles in this year's pride parade.
