Clark County Pride

June 2, 2024, 10:00 am- 3:00 pm

Clark County Pride began as a small committee of like-minded folks who wanted to see Pride celebrated in the little town of La Center, Washington. As a group in the middle of a pandemic, we put together what turned out to be a beautifully successful Pride Rainbow Walk and community picnic in June of 2021 on the hottest day ever recorded in Southwest Washington. We’ve realized anew that the outlying areas of Clark County and Southwest Washington don’t have the same resources of Pride and queer-focused organizations like the more urban and suburban areas. Now Clark County Pride is striving to be a porchlight for the people who identify as part of this community, and couldn’t be more passionate about providing resources and safe spaces and connections.
